Aston Martin expands line up with Vanquish Zagato Speedster and Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake

Automotive enthusiasts and Aston Martin patrons rejoice as the brand confirms it will be expanding the Zagato line-up with a Vanquish Zagato Speedster and a spectacular Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake.
The family of four Vanquish Zagato models will yield a total output of 325 cars, with the breakdown seeing the production of 99 Coupes, 99 Volantes (convertibles), 28 Speedsters, and 99 Shooting Brake models. The four unique designs are the result of a close collaboration between automaker Aston Martin and world-renowned design house, Zagato.
With all four cars based on the Vanquish S, each Zagato model enjoys the combination of 592 horsepower, a naturally-aspirated V12, a smooth Touchtronic III transmission, and adaptive damping specifically tuned for each variant.

Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, said of the Vanquish Zagato family: “Many of our customers want different things. Some prefer the purity of a Coupe, but others love the idea of something more extreme, like the Speedster. And yes, some of them have ordered one example of each. We could easily fulfill demand for more cars than this, but we want the Zagato to remain something very special.”
The Speedster and Shooting Brake represent the two extremes of the Vanquish Zagato family. The former is an uncompromising roofless design that expresses the raw excitement of an open-top ultra-high-performance sports car, while the latter is conceived as an individual and exceptionally practical GT.
For most enthusiasts, the Zagato family will remain a poster on their wall.
