Audi will be unveiling its flagship-SUV, the Q8, at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show set to take place in Qatar. The Q8’s launch is significant for the Middle East as the SUV has been the ubiquitous Audi for many in the region. Its 507 bhp V8, Quattro all wheel drive, striking design and spacious interior are loved by people.

Along with the world premiere of the new Q8, Audi will also be showcasing its all-electric e-tron range, the Audi RS e-tron GT and the Q8 e-tron, Audi S8 and RS7. The German carmaker says that all these models represent its commitment to “cater to the varied customisation preferences of customers in the Middle East.” Audi’s newly appointed Managing Director for the Middle East Region, Mr Rene Koneberg, will be elucidating on the carmaker’s performance in the region and future plans of growth.

The most juicy bit of the show is going to be related to Audi’s entry to Formula 1. The firm from Ingolstadt is set to enter F1 in 2026 when the new regulations come into play. At the Geneva Motor Show, spectators will get to witness Audi’s F1 Showcar with its Launch Livery for the very first time.

Visitors can see the aforementioned vehicles by dropping by the Audi exhibit at GIMS QATAR. GIMS QATAR opens to the public from October 7th to October 14th.
