Audi Urbansphere Concept lands in the Middle East

Posted by Tejas Kokcha on Oct 17, 2023

Audi’s Urbansphere Concept will be making a grand entrance into the Middle East at the Museum of the Future in Dubai. The Urbansphere concept looks to redefine urban mobility and it is the third and the largest of the four concept vehicles in the sphere series. The sphere series also includes the skysphere, grandsphere and activesphere.

The partnership between Audi and Museum of the Future enables the automaker to showcase the Urbansphere concept’s urban mobility solution. The Urbansphere concept is built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) technology and features a battery module in-between the axles. The battery can hold up to 120 kilowatt hours of energy and can be charged from 5 to 25 percent in just under 25 minutes.

The interior of the urbansphere is spacious and loaded with luxurious features. Step inside and you will be greeted by a lounge-chair-inspired architecture, with light-coloured and pillow-like

upholstery elements.

Elmir Arnautovic, Audi Middle East Marketing and Communications Director, commented: “Bringing the Audi urbansphere to the Middle East represents a momentous milestone for Audi and the region. This exceptional concept car showcases our strong commitment to innovative mobility solutions and provides a fascinating glimpse into the future of luxury, environmentally conscious transportation. Audi invites everyone to visit the Museum of the Future for this unparalleled opportunity to witness the urbansphere while it’s here, first-hand.”

The Audi urbansphere concept will be on display at the museum as part of the ‘Tomorrow,

Today‘ exhibition until mid January 2024.
