AW Rostamani Group Chairman welcomes new Consul General of Japan

Mr. Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani, Chairman of AW Rostamani Group welcomes the new incoming Consul General of Japan in Dubai, Mr. Daisuke Matsunaga at the Group’s offices in Deira. 

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (10 September, 2012) -  Mr. Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani, Chairman of AW Rostamani Group last week welcomed the new incoming Consul General of Japan in Dubai, Mr. Daisuke Matsunaga at the Group’s offices in Deira.

Mr. Matsunaga assumed his new role as Dubai’s Consul General of Japan on April 19th this year with a brief to take bilateral relations between Japan and Dubai and the Northern Emirates to new heights. “I consider myself lucky to have been assigned here. I see the city’s cosmopolitan character as a fertile ground for cultural exchanges, which I intend to pursue even further than has been done already. And while I am anxious to learn about local culture and customs, I am also keen to introduce the charm and beauty of Japan, and its culture, to people here” commented Mr. Matsunaga.

In response Mr. Al Rostamani commented: “We extend a warm welcome and the hand of friendship to Mr. Matsunaga and wish him all the very best in his brief to build on the already well-established ties between Dubai and Japan.
