Bentley Begins Deliveries of Exclusive Continental GT Pikes Peak Edition

Owning and driving a Bentley is a pretty special experience in itself, but for the ultra-rich, exclusivity is what counts. Keeping in tune with its customers’ demands, luxury automaker Bentley has begun deliveries of its ultra-exclusive Continental GT Pikes Peak Edition, a car so rare that just 15 examples have been created worldwide.

The Pikes Peak Continental GT by Mulliner was created to celebrate the brand’s record at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb in a race-prepared version of the famed GT. With very few examples, five out of the fifteen models are expected to head to the US, while the rest are expected to make their way to the UK, Germany, Latvia, Qatar, UAE, Japan, and New Zealand.

Being a Bentley and an extremely rare one at that, the brand claims that one-third of its customers went for the Mountain Decal Event livery to match the look of the record-breaking car, while three owners chose a subtle gloss black exterior paint finish.

Touches that distinguish the Pikes Peak Edition from the standard Continental GT include Acid Green brake calipers, a carbon fiber body kit, gloss black roof panel and exclusive Radium paintwork by Mulliner. The limited-edition Continental GT also sports 22-inch wheels in Gloss Black as standard and could be optioned with a special ‘100’ front grille to commemorate the fact that the record took place during Bentley’s centenary year.

Power is provided by the same twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that powers the regular Continental GT, pushing 626 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque to all four wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
