Building anticipation prior to its unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show in March, Bentley Motors releases a short teaser of its most extreme road-going model to date across social media platforms. While details are scarce, with the video containing more text than reveal, the model in question is believed to be a special variant of the Continental and go beyond the engineering feat of the Continental GT3-R.

The extremely short and relatively dark video, allows for glimpses of the carbon fiber vents, redesigned wheels, larger brakes, red calipers and prominent spoiler, to be caught. If speculation is anything to go by, the new model could well be based on the GT3-R and could consequently be the lightest Continental to date.

With claims to be the most extreme model to don the Bentley insignia, power from the 4.0-liter V8 is expected to be boosted from the current 572 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, to somewhere in the range of 600 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. The bump in performance figures will inevitably improve acceleration, top speed, and the vehicle’s performance on track.
