Bentley to produce world's most expensive SUV

Reuters reported that Volkswagen has approved the plans by its luxurious Bentley division to build its first SUV, in a move that will bewilder car lovers.

Volkswagen said this new model, rumored to be code named 'The Falcon' will be the world’s most expensive SUV and will go on sale in 2016, adding that the project will require over £800m of investment over the next three years. It will be built in Crewe, the main Bentley facility in England.

The annual sales target for Bentley is between 3,000 and 4,000 SUVs priced at above 180,000 Euros. Bentley’s new model would be key to almost doubling its worldwide deliveries to 15,000 cars by 2018.
