The F22 designation, though synonymous with fighter jets, is now used by German manufacturer BMW to distinguish its 2-Series Coupe from the rest of its lineup. The potent M2 is impressive as is and this particular model, tuned by HGK Motorsport, even more so.

With the aim to create a Formula Drift car, the Latvian racing tuner has stripped down the little Bimmer to its bare chassis and rebuilt it from the ground up. The General Motors LS V8 engine, prepared by Mast Motorsports, sings to the tune of 820 horsepower while being mated to a Somsonas five-speed sequential transmission and Winters differential.

In addition to that, the list of added components includes a 40-liter FIA fuel cell, Wilwood brakes, a fully adjustable suspension set-up, a full roll cage and Kvelar bodywork that makes the BMW look as intimidating as any military aircraft.
