Looking for a cheaper BMW? Look no further as Brilliance Auto – a Chinese company – has driven inspiration from BMWs while designing their cars. The V5, which looks a lot like a BMW X3, can be yours for a mere 55,000 AED (The actual X3 sells for about 250,000 AED). Other than that, there is the H530, which looks like the BMW 5 Series. The mechanics can also replace the grille, badges and logos on the H530 to make it look like the actual 5 Series. Sold here by Al Yousuf motors, the Chinese autos don’t have a potential market yet, here in UAE as the consumers have a sophisticated taste when it comes to cars. But it doesn’t mean that the perception cannot be changed with time. Though that will be a daunting task.
