The hosts made sure the entire event is 5-Star and the journalists return feeling pampered. The chauffeur driven Cadillac Escalade was the choice of pick-up from Dubai. The Escalade provided was also the top-spec trim of the extended-version to keep the passengers entertained and relaxed with extra room for luggage.

After the long journey from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, we were well received by the Cadillac Communications Team that included Ronald Balit, Rana Fawaz, Farah Amhaz, Cesar Yacoub and others at the Four Seasons hotel. The hotel itself looked clean and polished and turns out that it had opened 2 weeks back. The architecture of the hotel seems very Cadillac-friendly with its straight lines and modern-edgy design.

After checking-in the swanky rooms, it was time to meet up for the pre-dinner drinks to mingle with the Cadillac team that included Felix Weller, Hans-Georg Hermann, Maximillian Wittich, Nadim Ghrayeb and others. Drinks were followed by dinner and then it was time to call it a night. The next day was the actual drive and product briefing.

In the product briefing it was mentioned that 12 billion USD were spent by General Motors for the future brand revamp till 2021. It is believed to be the volume accelerator for the American brand. Moreover, the Cadillac showrooms will change their look and feel in the near future. Cadillac plans to release 8 more models by 2020. These 8 models include both sedans and SUVs.

The briefing ended and it was time to drive the CT6 around Abu Dhabi through city roads leading to picturesque view points for taking images. After the test drive, it was time for lunch and Q&A sessions before individual departures.
