The people of Saudi Arabia are faced with an outrage. As per the latest statistics, 9,169 vehicles were reported stolen in 2013 from various parts of the country. Among these, 4,213 vehicles were returned to their respective owners. Riyadh tops the list of places where the vehicles thefts occur the most with 3,907 reported cases. It is followed by Makkah with 2,621 vehicles.

The most common way of stealing the car is by stealing the car keys and making their duplicates and returning them back without the driver’s knowledge. Other times it is just made easy for the thieves when the car is left with ignition turned on. Moreover, the thieves may also pose as garage employees, security officials or hotel drivers as well.
