Chery Tiggo 7 2018 Unveiled in the UAE

Unveiled at the brand’s showroom in Deira, the Chery Tiggo 7 2018 builds on the success of the popular Tiggo 5 that slots in below it. Packed with a range of exciting features, the Chinese SUV aims to make a bold statement by setting a new benchmark and moving away from the conservative styling of its predecessors.

The first model to flaunt the brand’s new family face with a hexagonal grille and boomerang headlamps, the Tiggo 7 is aimed at a younger, trendier audience. The double arched anterior adds an elegant touch, while the angular tiger-claw tail lamps are a breath of fresh air to the segment and the automotive design front.
Within the cabin, the Chery Tiggo 7 flaunts a dual tone color scheme with a unique wing-shaped center console that houses the gear shifter, ignition button, and infotainment controls. Encompassing the concept of minimalism, the Tiggo 7 welcomes a 9-inch infotainment display atop the dashboard, while a smaller 4.8-inch LCD display is concealed within the instrument cluster.

Keeping up with the times and striving to offer phenomenal amounts of value for money, tech comes in the form of a dual-zone climate control system, noise cancellation, and 360-degree cameras for effortless parking and maneuverability. In addition to a large panoramic roof, the Chinese SUV is also armed with six airbags for added safety.
Under the hood, resides a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that churns out 121 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque. Mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, it accelerates to 100 km/h in 13.5-seconds and bears a top speed of 170 km/h.
