Classic Cars Show in Cairo

Posted by Mohamad Al Shafei on Oct 7, 2012

In the celebration of both the 39th anniversary of 6th October victory and the end of Pharaons Rally, ATCE (Automobile & Touring Club of Egypt) had organized a great parade of classic and historical cars owned by club members and other Egyptians.

The event started just in the right place, Cairo downtown, in front of ATCE main office, surrounded by many old buildings, and just beside one of the oldest and most known cafés in Egypt, Groppi.

At 12:30 PM the stunning cars lined in the street caught the eyes of the bystanders who started to photograph the cars with their mobiles and cameras. Some TV shows were also there interviewing car owners.

After about an hour, cars started to move in one line by the help of traffic officers who played an important role in the event. The parade went through several areas and streets in Cairo and Giza including Al Tahrir Square, Qasr Al Nile bridge, Saray Al Jazeera st., Hassan Sabry st., 26th July st., and 15th May bridge. YallaMotor.com was never to miss such an event. We were there to capture those memorable cars. Enjoy the photos of these wonderful cars below:
