Commercial Vehicle Care Centres to be launched by Petromin in Saudi Arabia

Posted by Tejas Kokcha on Apr 13, 2022

Saudi Arabian lubricants and automotive services company Petromin will be launching new state-of-the-art commercial vehicle care centres in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The centres will reach 27 locations across the Kingdom by 2023 and the task will be done under the supervision of Petrolin’s new division Petromin Commercial Vehicle Care Centres.

At the centres commercial vehicles will be able to undergo preventive maintenance of brakes, tires, suspension, batteries along with diagnostics, major repairs and overhauls. These centres will help support the Saudi Transportation and Logistics Industry further strengthening. The launching of these centres is a strategic call made by Petromein in tandem with the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative.

In 2021, a whopping 926 billion tons of cargo were transported across Saudi Arabia and that figure is said to go above 1 trillion tons by 2026. With such huge cargo transportation going on, the Petromin Commercial Vehicle Care Centres (PCVC) will be assisting the kingdom’s companies in delivering the cargos smoothly without any hiccups.

Gary Flom, CEO of Petromin’s National Transportation Solutions Company, the parent of PCVC, said: “With the launch of Petromin Commercial Vehicle Care Centers (PCVC), we will disrupt the industry by elevating the service to unprecedented heights. We aim to have 80% of all repairs completed within 24 hours. That is a lofty target, but with our methodology of utilising only the top-notch, latest equipment, highly optimised inventory of spare parts, and specially trained professional technicians, we will make a huge impact across the entire mobility space in the Kingdom, now and in the future.”
