In addition to Tesla’s Model X and Model S, a Renault Zoe and a retrofitted Volkswagen prepare to transport forty individuals around the UAE, unveiling new charging stations in Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Abu Dhabi.

Commenting on the upcoming trip, Ben Pullen, Founder and Managing Director of Global EVRT says, “We are excited to finally bring the Electric Vehicle Road Trip to the Emirates. The UAE is a perfect place for this type of event as the government has taken effective steps towards a vision for the future of sustainable energy and transportation.”

Divided into two stages, the road trip kicks off with celebrity guest Robert Llewellyn of the Fully Charged Show introducing newly installed charging stations at Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, Novotel Hotel in Fujairah, and the Sofitel Corniche Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
