Exploring the Bentley Entertainment Tablet

While automobiles were created for the sole purpose of passenger transport from point A to point B, their reliance and dependence on technology has grown significantly over the years – a shift no more prominent than in the past decade.

Equipped with a plethora of multiprocessors, automobiles of today offer buyers the most exquisite of technological features, with British automaker Bentley and its Entertainment Tablet being no exception to the rule.

Packed with 4G LTE, the 10.2-inch tablets that adorn the front seatbacks are fitted with 32GB of internal storage, a micro SD card slot, and a front facing camera for those ever-important video conferences with board members of multi-billion Dollar companies.

While it would have been much easier both, financially and from an execution viewpoint, for the automaker to throw in a run-of-the-mill tablet with a few custom apps, Bentley has gone the whole nine yards embracing Android and allowing it to do a whole lot more than that.

Although running a custom interface, the tablets are Google certified and allow for full access to the Play Store and all its content. With audio streaming from the tablets through the Mulsanne’s exceptional audio system and wireless transmission of route information directly to the on-board navigation system, the tablets aren’t restricted to the vehicle itself. Is there any better way to make a statement at the gym or the office than with a portal Bentley Entertainment Tablet? I think not.
