Father charged for letting his child drive a Ferrari

Mohammed Nisham, father of 9-year-old buy, got charged for letting his young son drive his Ferrari, as told by the police in Kerala.


Inspector MV Verghese said that is called endangering the life of a child and allowing a minor to drive.


A video of the child driving the car while his 7-year-old brother is seated next to him went viral on Youtube. The video was taken by their mother who is actually proud of her son saying to NDTV “It was his ninth birthday, and since he was insisting for months, we allowed him to drive the Ferrari. He is a cautious and confident driver," adding "It's not easy for a child to achieve such a feat at this young age."


Mr Nisham has applied for bail and is expected to turn himself in to the police near Kochi.
