Ferrari 812 Superfast to stun audiences at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show

At the upcoming 87th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, Ferrari is set to debut the fastest and most powerful model in the marque’s history: the 812 Superfast.

Aesthetically, the 812 Superfast features a high tail reminiscent of the glorious 365 GTB4 of 1969 and is further adorned with muscular wheel arches and visually striking flanks. A set of full-LED headlights integrate into the design of the sculpted air intakes and emphasise the overall aggressiveness.

Armed with a new 12-cylinder engine, the Ferrari 812 Superfast marks the seventieth anniversary of the official start of the Prancing Horse’s story in 1947. Building on the legacies of the F12berlinetta and the F12tdf, the 812 Superfast is targeted at clients who are on the lookout for an uncompromising sports car that delivers both on road and on the racetrack.

Generating 789-horsepower (800 cv) the 6.5-liter V12 engine is the new benchmark in the mid-front-engined sports car segment, achieving maximum power output at a mindboggling 8,500 RPM! Maximum torque stands at 718 Nm with 80% of it available from as low as 3,500 RPM.

The 812 Superfast’s dual-clutch transmission has specific gear ratios which, combined with shorter up and down-shifting times, sharpens throttle response even further. Adding on to its list of firsts, the 812 Superfast is also the first Ferrari to welcome EPS (Electric Power Steering).
