Ahead of its debut at the Paris International Motor Show in September, the open-top 2017 La Ferrari has been revealed on social media and is rumored to take the Aperta name once launched. Targeted at those who refuse to compromise on the joy of al fresco driving, the La Ferrari Spider is essentially a roof-down version of the most expensive street-legal Ferrari ever.

Although an extremely limited production run of 150 cars has been confirmed, it’s already too late to order one, as all available examples have been sold. While no technical details have been revealed yet, it is with certainty that one can assume the open-top version to feature the same mid-mounted 6.3-liter V12 engine from the Coupe to produce a total of 950 horsepower and a spine-shattering top speed of 354 km/h.

Knocking the roof off has had little effect on the Italian beauty’s design. With carbon-fiber construction and a rigid chassis, the La Ferrari Spider flaunts the same aerodynamic performance as its Coupe sibling. Additionally, we can also expect the newest entry into the brand’s line-up to flaunt a hard top just as the 488 Spider.
