The Bugatti Chiron, successor to the legendary Veyron, is a mid-engined sports car that was revealed at Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. Named in honor of driver, Louis Chiron, it carries over the 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbo engine which churns out 1,479 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque.

Although the Chiron isn’t officially on sale yet, and neither is the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, – the car used to tease it – both, the Chiron prototype and the one-of-one Vision were recently auctioned to a Saudi Prince for over $5 million (AED 18,365,750).

Seen on Prince Badr bin Saud’s Instagram account, are two pictures clicked by GFWilliams, representing the Prince’s newest possessions. While the question remains unanswered if the prototypes are working models, they will undoubtedly be a pleasant addition to the collection.

While the Prince’s garage is akin to an exotic car dealership, something tells us the former is a lot more exciting. We’re looking forward to seeing what’s next in line!
