Ford GT Touches 445 kmph in Texas

We all love speed but some power hungry enthusiasts in Texas have gone to another level of being power crazy. Beevile, a place in Texas, holds an event twice in a year to gather all the freaks and their insane creations called the Texas Mile. The name is self-explanatory – a drag mile with a speed trap to post top speeds of vehicles. The last few years saw the Hennessey Ford GT twin-turbo win the competition. But this weekend we saw a new winner – a 2,000 bhp Ford GT by M2K Motorsports demolished the record set by Hennessey (428 km/h) with a top speed of 445 km/h. Keep in mind, it was only a mile long strip.
