Ford Mustang continues to be the best-selling sports car in the world

The Ford Mustang is a muscle car that we love. It is regarded by us as THE muscle car by many and so it doesn’t come as a surprise that it has retained the title of the world’s best selling sports car for a 10th year running.
The Mustang, celebrating its 59th birthday, has been named as the world’s best selling sports car according to Ford analysis of registration data from S&P Global Mobility. No other sports car has been able to outsell the icon for nearly six decades.
Ford’s internal data shows that the United States accounts for 78% of global sales with growth seen in other markets as well such as Germany, Britain, Switzerland, and the Middle East. In the Middle East, sales for the Mustang were up by 7.4%.
