Ford has released a teaser for the Mustang GT4 ahead of its debut at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium. The GT4 has been announced right after Ford took the wraps of the GT3 a few weeks ago.

Like the GT3, the GT4 is set to be based on the Mustang Dark Horse with Multimatic Motorsports taking the building process forward from there. The American carmake rhas remained coy regarding the mechanical changes made.

For those of you who don’t know, The GT4 racing class is one step below the GT3. The cars are built for racing yet have a lot in common with road-going counterparts.

Looking at the additions on the GT3, we reckon the GT4 will feature super race-y stuff like a front splitter, massive hood outlets, flared fenders, side-exit exhaust pipes, a swan-neck-mounted wing, and a massive diffuser.

Ford Performance Global Motorsports Director, Mark Rushbrook, will unveil the GT4 alongwith SRO President, Stephane Ratel. The Mustang GT3 will also be present at the unveiling, set to take place on Wednesday, June 28.
