GAC launches showroom and flagship GS8 SUV in Abu Dhabi

GAC Motors has launched its first showroom in Abu Dhabi after seeing growing demand for the Chinese company to set foot in the UAE, and especially Abu Dhabi. Gargash Group, one of the largest distributors of premium and luxury cars in the UAE, has opened the state-of-the-art showroom of the Chinese state owned company in partnership with Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management (ADMM).
The showroom is located at the home of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand prix - the Yas Marina circuit. It is spread across over 300 square meters and provides all sales services under one roof.
Saif Al Noaimi, CEO at ADMM, commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome the Gargash Group to Yas Marina Circuit with the opening of their first showroom here in Abu Dhabi at the region’s home of motorsport. We look forward to continuing to build on our partnership to mutually benefit our customers with new driving experiences at the circuit and other exciting activities in the pipeline.”
That’s not all as GAC Motors also launched its flagship SUV, the GS8, in Abu Dhabi. The SUV features the company’s signature four-bulb metric headlights, a chrome grille, and has a very bold and aggressive stance. Inside the GS8 has 8-way adjustable seats and leather seats. Premium driver aids like Adaptive Vehicle Dynamic Control (ADVC), a 540-degree HD holographic projection and Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD) are there. Just in case you were wondering, ADVC allows the driver to choose the most appropriate driving mode according to the circumstances.
GAC Motors has also confirmed that more models are on the way for Middle East customers.
