When GMC teased the Call of Duty: Next event, a few eyebrows were raised as to what General Motors was planning. All was unveiled when GMC announced that the GMC Hummer EV pickup truck will be in the two upcoming Call of Duty games.

While the GMC Hummer EV pickup will be making an appearance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, players will be able to drive the monstrous EV in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 to explore the play space in the game.

For those of you who have forgotten, GMC claims that the Hummer EV will have more than 1,000 horsepower, a whopping 11,500 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-60mph time of under 3 seconds. Couple those monstrous stats with its off-road prowess thanks 13-inches of suspension travel, what you have is a monster in hand.

"The GMC Hummer EV Pickup is truly the world’s first all-electric supertruck. Now, it is entering the gaming world where it will define a new chapter of capability and bring players together across the globe," said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick and GMC.

William Gahagan, director of Global Partnerships at Activision, said: "We’re excited to bring the GMC HUMMER EV Pickup into the fold for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. There’s nothing like driving across Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 in an all-electric, 1,000 horsepower supertruck. I can’t wait for players to get their hands on it this fall."

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be available from October 28, 2022 with Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 debuting this fall.
