Gaze at the beauty of the Lamborghini Countach on the road

The weekend has just ended and we all are having Monday blues. Boo. But its not all doom and gloom as Lamborghini has very kindly released some gorgeous pics of the all new Countach strolling on the road with its infamous ancestors. Now that is some eye-candy!

Last year, the Italian supercar maker reimagined the ultimate bedroom wall poster car - the Countach. In doing so it gave us the Countach LPI 800-4. In order to mark the occasion of the supercar hitting the road, Lamborghini teamed it with its forefathers - the Countach LP 400 and Countach 25th Anniversary.

The all-new Countach is powered by a hybrid powertrain which features a glorious naturally-aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine and a supercapacitor which gives three times more power than a lithium-ion battery of the same weight. WOW

This same setup can be found in the Sián. The body of the Countach has been constructed on a carbon fibre monocoque. The supercar has aluminium subframes at either end to support the suspension and axles.

Thanks to that monstrous hybrid setup, the Countach has a massive 814hp on offer. THis means that it can hit 100kph from a standstill in just 2.8 seconds. Flat out and it’ll do 355 km/h. Those are some really nerve-tingling numbers.

Only 112 Countach LPI 800-4s will be made as an ode to ‘LP 112’ - the internal project name given to the original Countach when its development started.
