Genesis Motors prepares for launch in the Middle East

Genesis Motors, the luxury wing of Hyundai Motors, which was announced as a standalone marque on 4th November 2015, is set to be launched in the Middle East in the coming days. The Korean brand’s recipe to success is seen in its workforce, that hail from brands such as Lamborghini, Bentley, and BMW’s M division.

The Genesis G90, which is set to be the brand’s flagship model, is the first model to make its way to the region and is a display of the designers’ talent. The interior, focuses on meticulous craftsmanship and on offering an elegant color palette.

“The Genesis G90 represents the absolute best in automotive design, from supreme passenger comfort and deluxe features, to the chrome elements that artfully highlight the elegance of its exterior lines,” said Mike Song, Genesis Head of Operations for Africa and the Middle East. “Yet within these traditional hallmarks of luxury, the G90 integrates advanced technology to ensure performance, safety, and ease of driving.”

Beneath the sculpted hood resides one of three engines: a 3.3-liter V6, a 3.8-liter V6, or a 5.0-liter V8, each coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The body of the ultra-luxurious sedan is composed of 52 percent advanced high-strength steel and plays a significant role in offering segment-leading low levels of noise, vibration and harshness.
