Good News! The Renault Duster is the all the car you could ever need

“Good News” is a phrase used by famous car journalist James May whenever Dacia (Renault’s sister company which sells rebadged versions of its cars in the UK) revealed the new Sandero or Duster. And he wasn’t wrong, while we’ll talk about the Sandero some other day, the arrival of a new Duster is good news as it simplifies your purchase for a new car. Why? That’s because it’s all the car you could ever need.

Launched back in 2010, the Duster quite quickly got the ‘cheap but actually quite good’ award as it was a small SUV that could be utilitarian and have all the goodies without harming your bank balance. More than a decade since its launch, the recipe hasn’t changed for the Duster. Renault’s not wrong because you should never change a winning formula.

Talking about the current Duster, it's design has evolved compared to the first car but there’s nothing radical, just a few enhancements which make it eye-catching, like the prominent door-side protectors, grille, front, rear, and side style bars, and a pair of cool head- and 0tail-lights.

Moving inside, you will find a very convenient, family-friendly 1/3 –2/3 foldable bench seat system along with lots of storage options for those long roadtrips. Talking about road trips, the Duster has a tool-free removable towbar and roof rails.

Other cool features in the interior include new adjustment systems for the driver's seat and steering wheel and new rear air vents. While these might not look like something new, to find such features in a car as cheap as the Duster, it is quite a big deal.

Ever since its launch, the Duster has been one of the most value for money cars and continues to do so in 2022.
