Happy Birthday Lamborghini! The icon turns 60

Lamborghini. It is a name that brings a smile to our faces. A name that brings images of raging bulls and supercars with bonkers doors. And for the avid petrolheads, it brings the image of how a tractor manufacturer went on to rub shoulders with the big boys.
This year Lamborghini turns 60 years old. Yup, that’s right, the raging bull is turning 60 years young on 7 May. When Mr. Lamborghini started the company in 1963, I am pretty sure no one - not even he - would have thought that it would have a unique space in the supercar market with over 2000 employees and 9233 cars delivered in 2022.
Lamborghini already kickstarted the celebrations with the inauguration of the newly renovated Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese and the exhibition “The Future Began In 1963”. These events were followed up by “Lamborghini Day Japan – 60th Anniversary” in Suzuka and “Lamborghini Day UK - 60th Anniversary”, which saw over 380 Lamborghini gathered at Silverstone circuit on 29 April.
Later this month, on May 24th, the "60th Anniversary Giro" tour will be held in Italy, culminating on May 28th in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna with a public Concours d'Elegance featuring more than 150 Lamborghini.
