Haval is adamant on making its name in the Middle East. And, you don’t create a name as an automotive brand with the launch of just one model. So, Haval has tried to cater to another segment with the launch of the Haval H6. In this way, it can serve more consumers and market segments. After all, Haval is the largest manufacturer of SUVs in China and it has to show that presence outside China as well.

The Haval H6 is slightly larger than the H2 and is a small-to-mid-size offering from the Chinese brand. It measures 4.649 meters in length, 1.852 meters in width and 1.710 meters in height. The wheelbase is 2.680 meters long. This small-to-mid-size SUV is powered by a very small 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine producing 150 brake horsepower and 210 Nm of torque.  The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and the car comes with either a front-wheel-drive or an all-wheel-drive platform. All this adds up to a decent fuel consumption rate of 8.4 liters / 100 kilometers.

Coming to the interior, the car features Electronic Stability Program (ESP). It also includes Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA) and Hill Assist Control (HAC). Moreover, there is a push button start system as well for added convenience. In addition, you will find dual-control climate control for the Middle Eastern heat. The Haval H6 will also feature reverse camera and parking sensors with reversing lines for additional safety.

The Haval H6 is available in the UAE courtesy Swaidan Trading. The starting price of the H6 is AED 71,500. Think of the Haval H6 as the competitor to the Mazda CX-5.
