We are back with another hidden gem in the car world. This time we are bringing to you an offering from the Americans. The brand is not well known here – it is not even sold here actually. But, back in the day it was a pretty big deal in parts of the world other than its home town. This week we bring to you the 1967 Buick Electra 225.

The Buick Electra 225 was produced between 1959 and 1990. The car was named by then Buick President Harlow H. Curtice after his sister Electra Waggoner Biggs. The Electra 225 was offered not only as a sedan, but a coupe, a convertible and a station wagon as well. It is a typical American lowrider that is long and wide – perfectly suited for cruising along the highways. This model was replaced by Buick Park Avenue in 1991.

Coming to this particular model, the 1967 Buick Electra 225 is the third generation model. This car is a soft-top convertible dressed in bronze with a creamy roof. The Electra is powered by a thumping 430 cubic inch 7.0 liter V8 engine that produces a respectable 360 brake horsepower. The engine is mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. The interior of the car is also creamy in color. Moreover, this color is also added to the wheels.

The overall condition of the car looks good. It has been well-maintained by the ex-owner. The car has been driven for 120,000 km and is priced at AED 85,000. You can find this car at Wahat Al Aseel Used Cars in Ras Al Khor, Dubai.
