Launched in the GCC, Lebanon and Jordan, is an all-new 1.6-liter engine that joins the 1.5-liter turbo and 2.0-liter engine in the existing model line-up. Welcoming two new grades (DX and LX), the all-new engine is targeted towards enhancing sales and appealing to a larger, more price sensitive segment of the market.

Externally, the new grades bear little to no differentiation from their pricier siblings and sport LED Daytime Running Lights, power side mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, halogen fog lights and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Features include but are not limited to, Bluetooth telephony, USB audio, Push Button ignition, Parking Sensors, and a Remote Engine Starter – mighty impressive for offerings that fall on the lower rung of the spec ladder.

Producing 123 horsepower and 151 Nm of torque, the all-new 1.6-liter engine gets mated to a revised CVT transmission that flaunts taller gear ratios for enhanced fuel economy. Enabling low-rpm cruising, the reworked transmission offers smooth acceleration and fuel efficiency that returns 18.4 km/ liter.

While the previous 2.0-liter engine enabled the entry-point of Civic ownership at AED 72,900, the all-new engine and grades allow potential buyers to enjoy the numerous benefits of a Civic from as low as AED 67,900.
