Honda to launch new cheap SUV called Vezel

Small, cheap SUVs are the hottest thing in the market now and Honda is not behind in capturing that market. It hopes to grab market share with its new Vezel which is all set to launch at the Paris Motor show. The Vezel will be sold as HR-V in other markets as Vezel will be the name used in Japan.
Main Highlights Include:
- 4295mm length, 1770mm width and 1605mm height. Wheelbase is 2610mm.
- Sloping roofline like CR-V
- Rear door handles have been masked with C-pillar like the FJ cruiser
- Powertrains include 1.0 liter turbo 3-cyl and 1.5 liter 4-cyl
- Competitors include Nissan’s Juke and Qashqai
