In talks with: Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale owner Rushil Roshan

Posted by Zaran Tarapore on Aug 23, 2016

Rushil Roshan, proud member of automotive group Gumball 7 – Tuners and Muscles, is a motoring aficionado who appreciates the finer things in life. His striking Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, is a testament to that statement.

Name:
Rushil Roshan Prabu

Vehicle you own:
2015 Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale F1

What got you into cars:
I was introduced to jaw dropping cars at a very young age and the fact that my father is a through and through petrol head, helped shape my passion. The adrenaline rush from mashing the pedal to the metal, is an inexplicable feeling and one that gets me weak in the knees every single time.

What’s unique about your car:
Well, the GranTurismo MC Stradale speaks for itself, really. It is arguably one of the greatest cars ever built by Maserati with a Ferrari-derived naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V8 engine and an F1 gearbox. The fact that Maserati as a brand isn’t as popular as the likes of Ferrari or Lamborghini on the streets of the UAE, further helps me stand out.

What upgrades do you have in the pipeline:
At this point, there’s nothing in the pipeline as I’m more than happy with the car as is. In the future, I do see myself getting a tune and possibly even creating a one-off MC Stradale. While inspiration will be taken, every bit of customization will be unique and exclusive to just my car.

Name one car you’d swap yours for:
That’s an extremely difficult question to answer but if I had to pick, it’d probably be the Koenigsegg One:1. Being my first supercar, the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale will always hold a special place in my heart, but that’s not to say I’m not looking forward to the delivery of my Lamborghini Aventador in a couple of months!
