Infiniti QX60 2016 in detail

Infiniti Middle East, in association with, Arabian Automobiles held an exclusive event for the launch of two new models. The stars of the show were the 2016 Infiniti QX60 and QX50. The event comprised of glitz and glamour and everyone from the media to the VIP customers were invited. The importance of these models is significant as they helped Infiniti reach almost 2,500 vehicles in 2015.

Coming to the car itself, the Infiniti JX35 became Infiniti QX60 in 2014 because Infiniti changed the entire naming structure. For the 2016 model, the QX60 has received a redesigned exterior with subtle changes. There is a new front grille which is now complemented by bi-xenon headlamps. These headlamps are standard and have new LED daytime running lights in addition to LED fog lamps finished in chrome.
The interior also features some changes in terms of safety. The new Infiniti QX60 now has Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) with pedestrian detection. Other safety features include forward collision warning, backup collision and 360 degree camera. Moreover, there are chrome accents in the interior and soft touch materials.The 2016 Infiniti QX60 also has got its suspension revised to suit the needs of the drivers of today. In addition, the car’s steering system has also undergone some changes for greater feedback and driver involvement. As for the engine, it is the same 3.5 liter V6 mated to an all-time four-wheel-drive system.

The Infiniti QX60 is more of a wagon rather than an SUV and is built to cater to the families only. The car boasts interior space that’s big enough and adds a bit of premium touches to suit the customer requirements of today without hiking up the price by much. The 2016 Infiniti QX60 is available across the UAE from AED 185,000.
