Arabian market was always one of the strongest markets that aretargeted by the automotive car makers.

As reported by Reuters, considering that most of the new cars use aluminum, Tata Motors saw an opportunity and started planning to hook up with the world’s largest aluminum smelter that is being built in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and open their assembling factory in the Kingdom.

"This smelter could make the production of aluminum in Saudi Arabia very competitive. So taking a really long-term view, if we put an assembly plant there with a large press shop, given our commitment to aluminum in our products, we could have an interesting business case which we are examining today," Tata Motors chairman Ratan Tata said in remarks published in Autocar India.
