Jaguar Land Rover Opens Largest Classic Car Center In Coventry

Having launched a dedicated division to support vintage car owners a little over a year ago, Jaguar Land Rover has opened the doors to the world’s largest classic car center in its historic hometown, Coventry. Said to be the world’s largest classic car sales, manufacturing and restoration facility of its kind, Classic Works spans across 150,000 sq. ft and includes a showroom and a phenomenal 54 workshop bays.

Focusing on the cars of yesteryear, the restoration of the Land Rover Series I, Range Rover Classic, and Jaguar E-Type will take place under the same roof as the company’s collection of over 500 classic cars. In addition to a dedicated service center for the stunning Jaguar XJ220, the continuation E-Type and XKSS will also be maintained there, allowing customers to purchase restored classics directly from the manufacturer.
All vehicles that pass through its gates will be subjected to a rigorous 121-point inspection and be signed off by chief test driver Andy Wallace who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988. Enthusiasts in the area, will also be able to borrow classic cars from the facility and tour both the factory and the Classic Works premises.
