In light of the continuing spread of the Coronavirus, "Jaguar Land Rover" confirmed the temporary suspension of production operations at its plants in the United Kingdom over the next week. The company intends to resume work in the week beginning April 20, which is subject to review according to the current rapidly changing conditions.

In keeping with the company's sense of responsibility, Jaguar Land Rover works in line with the advice of the National Health Authority (NHS) and the Public Health Agency of England (Pubic Health England) to reduce the spread of the novel Coronavirus, while implementing plans to protect its continuing work. The company will work to reach a deliberate resumption of production as soon as conditions permit.

Jaguar Land Rover factories in Brazil and India are still operating, while the company's joint plant in China reopened on February 24th, as the recently hit China is returning to normalcy.

Although the company’s focus must remain on its business and responsibilities towards its employees, Jaguar Land Rover does everything in its power to support its communities in the current situation. The company also expresses its sympathy to those directly affected by COVID-19 and health care workers. Their role in fighting the spread of the virus is appreciated by all.
