Jay Leno takes the Porsche 918 Spyder for a drive

One of the hottest cars right now is the Porsche 918 Spyder, as it is the most technologically advanced machine ever from Porsche. The car made an appearance at the Pebble Beach recently and Jay Leno, the American comedian and host of NBC’s The Tonight Show, got to learn about it and take it for a spin around town.
Head of Porsche 918 Spyder program, Frank Walliser, explained to Leno everything about the car. The total power output is 887 horsepower, which happens when the 4.6 L V8 works with the pair of electric motors. Also, the 918 Spyder can run on pure battery power for around 10 to 16 miles then it can run as a standard hybrid or in Race mode.
