Keating, the British supercar manufacturer, is back with a new model called “The Bolt”. It’s still a prototype, so the name may change by the time its ready for production. The Bolt is Keating’s new supercar after its previous SKR, TKR and ZKR which all feature a powerplant sourced from General Motors.
The Bolt features a 7.0 liter LS7 V8 with 505 horsepower and 637 Nm of torque. A more potent version is planned, which will be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2 seconds with a top speed of 300 mph.
It will have a carbon fiber and Kevlar body and aluminum chassis. Its power is director to the rear wheels only via a 6-speed transaxle.
Orders for The Bolt are now being taken.
