Koenigsegg Agera RS embellished in pure gold and diamonds

Swedish automobile manufacturer Koenigsegg, was founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg with the intention of building a world-class supercar. In its short but extremely exciting 22-year history, it has done just that, time and time again.

A little over two weeks after the it unveiled the special-edition Koenigsegg Agera XS in a fire orange hue, the Swedish manufacturer has pulled the wraps off its newest creation: The Agera RS ‘Naraya’. The moniker, a name closely associated with the owner’s family, perfectly complements the vehicle’s uniqueness.

Featuring a blue carbon finish and gold leaf highlights, the Agera RS ‘Naraya’ is truly one of a kind. Applied by master craftsman Ettore ‘Blaster’ Callegaro, the gold leaf highlights took him a whopping 144 hours to complete – proving that perfection requires time and dedication.

Within the cabin, the blue alcantara is contrasted with gold piping and stitching, in addition to more hand finished gold leaf highlights, and an 18-carat ‘Naraya’ nameplate created with 155 diamonds by Ada Diamonds in California.

Below the gaping hood vents, resides a twin-turbo V8 engine that kicks out 1,160 horsepower and 1,280 Nm of torque to the rear wheels. Mated to a seven-speed transmission, the Agera RS ‘Naraya’ benefits from an e-differential, a hydraulic lift system and several other assists.

Set to be displayed at the upcoming Salon Privé supercar show at Blenheim Palace, the gold-laden supercar will share the spotlight with the brand’s One:1 and the last ever Agera R. Sounds like a show that isn’t worth missing!
