Lamborghini Displays the Revuelto and Lanzador to the Geneva Motor Show Qatar

Rolling out in style, the Geneva International Motor Show Qatar (GIMS) kicked off on October 5 and revs up till the 14th. Among the heavyweights gracing the event is none other than Lamborghini, eager to thrust its electrified vision into the limelight. The Revuelto and the Lanzador Concept take center stage, flaunting their prowess in the esteemed presence of Chief Stephan Winkelmann.

In this dynamic arena of motors, set against the backdrop of Qatar, Winkelmann chimed in, "This new motor show in a significant region is the perfect opportunity to present these important Lamborghini models to Middle East audiences." A palpable excitement infuses his words, "We are delighted to be here today, in the year that Lamborghini celebrates its 60th anniversary and six decades of our rich brand heritage while providing visitors to GIMS Qatar a preview of our innovative future as we shape our path towards electrification."

Meet The Lamborghini Revuelto

Steering into view as the Aventador's successor and hoisting the Lamborghini flag as their new flagship supercar, the Revuelto made its debut earlier this year. It doesn't sway from tradition, keeping the V12 engine at its core, but with an electrifying twist. A 6.5L powerhouse gets a boost from three electric companions, all juiced up by a 3.8 kWh battery pack. The combined might of 1,001 horses shoots the speedometer needle from 0-62 mph in a mere 2.5 heartbeats, with a top speed of 217 mph.

For those eager to park a Revuelto in their garage, patience is the virtue. The waiting list stretches till the end of 2025. As for the price tag, well, it's a guessing game, but brace yourself for a figure north of $600,000. Meanwhile, the Huracan, a beloved contender, has left the stage, making way for its successor, also set to harness electrified power.

Lamborghini Lanzador

Previewing the fourth jewel in Lamborghini's crown - following the Revuelto, Aventador successor, and the crowd-favorite Urus - the Lanzador is a breed apart. It's billed as a high-ground-clearance Ultra GT with room for a quartet. Casting a gaze into the future, it wears an Urus-inspired appearance. However, beneath the show car's skin, two electric powerhouses lurk, each powering an axle. The grand total? A staggering one megawatt, or 1,341 horsepower, a force to be reckoned with.

Yet, as tough as it may sound, by the projected launch in 2028, Lamborghini expects the Lanzador to face even fiercer rivals in the realm of hyper EVs. The Monterey Car Week witnessed its debut, rubbing shoulders with legends like the Miura, Countach, and the Huracan Sterrato, a testament to the brand's enduring legacy. The stage is set, the spotlight's on, and Lamborghini's electrified future is charging ahead.
