Lexus to reveal new NX Crossover

Lexus will preview its new compact crossover concept, the NX, for the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show. Also, a stylized version of the car will be on display in Frankfurt in the form of the LF-NX concept car
Many of the car’s lines are not just for the looks, but are actually functional aspects for the properties of the vehicle. For example, the vertical lines at the front are designed in a way to serve as an air curtain and help air flow to the front brakes. Also, at the rear, the light clusters are meant to project downwards to the full depth of the bumper to create a clear and sharp aerodynamic trailing edge to the car.
The production NX is said to feature 2 powertrain options; a new turbocharged 4-cylinder in a NX 200t and a hybrid setup in a NX 300h.
The new compact crossover is expected to go on sale next year.
