The Lotus Emira is a significant car for the British carmaker. The Emira is the firm’s last ever combustion engined car; the storied name of British automotive history will be all over electric cars from here on in. And so it is not a surprise that the Emira has been received with enthusiasm by car lovers all around the world, including the Middle East.

Ever since the sports car’s launch, more than 50 Emiras have been sold in the region. For those of you who need a refresher, the Emira is available with a Mercedes-AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit and a potent 3.5-litre V6. It weighs around 1,405 kilograms and does 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.

Adamas Motor Group, the exclusive Retail Partner of Lotus Cars in the UAE, decided to unite all the Emira owners in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for one iconic photograph as part of the Emira Founders Appreciation Event, held on 03 February 2024. And boy is it one superb photograph.

Leading the convoy was the Lotus Eletre police car - yup, the Middle East rozzers have laid their hands on Lotus’ latest EV SUV. The photograph is full of color and happy faces of the Emira owners.

Dan Balmer, Executive Director, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa at Lotus, said: “We are delighted with the success of Emira globally and seeing the fast-growing community of

owners in the UAE. The Emira captures the ethos of Lotus while incorporating new

technological innovations that satisfy the present consumer expectations.”

“In 2024, deliveries will commence for the new turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. We look forward for the community to continue to grow and remain engaged with the brand.”

Lotus Emira is available to order from Lotus Cars UAE with pricing starting from AED 415,000.
