Maserati, is it reaching its 50,000 sales goal?

Posted by Samar Huneidi on Sep 1, 2013

In 2012, Maserati sold 6,300 cars globally. Previously, Maserati set a goal of selling 50,000 cars by the year 2015, which seemed like it is a bit of a stretch. But it looks like the automaker is well on his way to achieving this goal, as reports say that Maserati has already received around 17,000 orders for cars this year, thanks to the strong demands in China of the new 2014 Quattroporte.

Even though the US is still the top market for sales of Maserati, but a report quotes Harald Wester, brand chief executive, saying that China is now the top market for Quattroporte. Not to forget to mention, that Ghibli isn’t even on sale yet, and a new 911-fighting coupe, Levante SUV and a redesigned GranTurismo are still waiting.

Have a look at the pictures.
