Maserati celebrates racing heritage with MC Edition trim

‘Victories, trophies, legendary cars and drivers’ is what Maserati thinks comes to one’s minds when its name is mentioned. Maserati has always been a well-known name in racing. Take up any old motorsport race and you will find the commentator mentioning the name ‘Maserati’ - even if they don’t have a car in the race.

To celebrate its racing heritage, Maserati has released a special ‘MC Edition’ trim for V8 versions of the Levante SUV, Ghibli saloon and Quattroporte limousine.

The Levante gets gloss 22in wheels while the Ghibli and Quattroporte gets 21 inch wheels, all finished in gloss black. Other MC Edition features include special badging (because why not), blue brake calipers and the option of choosing between two colours: Ciallo Corse and Blue Vittoria.

The cars will have a three layer paint finish which will give them ‘a notably tangible effect’ according to Maserati

Inside as well you will find some additions like blue carbon fiber, lovely yellow and blue stitching across the black leather (called Nero Pienofiore) and some more MC badging. An electric sunroof, a premium Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system and a driver assistance pack are also included in the MC trim.

The MC trim is available for the aforementioned trio of Maseratis in Europe, the US and China.
