Mercedes-Benz Celebrates International Womens Day with "Be One of Many" Campaign

This International Women's Day, Mercedes-Benz is back with their "Be one of Many" campaign, highlighting the stories of three inspirational women who are breaking barriers in their fields.
"Be one of Many" goes beyond celebrating these women's achievements. It aims to inspire young women and girls by showcasing the vast possibilities available to them. Mercedes-Benz itself is committed to promoting gender equality, with the goal of having 30% of women in senior management positions by 2030.
This year’s campaign shed light on three women, each with their different paths to success:
Aya Jaff: A 28-year-old entrepreneur and bestselling author, Aya Jaff is a rising star in the tech world. She shattered ceilings as a programmer and is now inspiring others to explore the stock market.
Dalad Kambhu: This passionate chef turned her love of cooking into a reality. Without formal training, Dalad Kambhu now owns and operates the acclaimed "Kin Dee" Thai restaurant in Berlin.
Alexandra Straßburger: Starting at Mercedes-Benz as a trainee in 2002, Alexandra has climbed the corporate ladder to become Director Global Sales Operations. She emphasizes the importance of diversity and international experience in achieving success.
The campaign extends beyond social media, with internal dialogues featuring other inspiring women at Mercedes-Benz who will share their career journeys.
“Promoting women is an investment in the future. Female role models are needed to get more women and girls interested in traditionally male-dominated professions. At Mercedes-Benz, we’ve been consistently increasing the proportion of women in senior management positions for many years. In doing so, we’re not only harnessing the potential of highly qualified female specialists and managers, we’re also precisely promoting these important role models in our industry – because we want to become even more diverse,” said Sabine Kohleisen, Human Relations & Labour Director at the Mercedes-Benz Group.
