According to forums and the word on the ground, the pickup truck is expected to don either the X-Class or GLT nameplate. Built in conjunction with Nissan, the German pick-up truck is believed to be built on the same platform as the NP300 Navara – a utilitarian workhorse.

Featuring a sharp lip spoiler that extends over the tailgate, there are a lot of design cues yet to be discovered. But what can be confirmed, is that the Merc truck will be built with four doors, during the initial phase at least.
