Mercedes GLA-Class debuts at Frankfurt

Other than the debut of the S-Class Coupe Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, there was another buzz about another big debut from Mercedes-Benz which was the 2015 GLA-Class compact crossover. The GLA is the high-riding version of the A-Class (or CLA-Class) compact.
The engine is a 2.0 L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 208 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Mercedes-Benz says the acceleration estimates a 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds for the GLA250 with 4Matic all-wheel drive. After the 4Matic model’s launch, a front-wheel version will debut, and a GLA45 AMG might follow as well, but that is not confirmed yet.
