MG Motor introduces RX8 SUV across the Middle East

MG Motor’s brand-new mid-size SUV, the MG RX8, is officially on sale across the Middle East. Being the brand’s first seven-seater SUV, it’s set to shake up the market in a region ruled by SUVs. With the largest wheelbase and the largest third-row space in its class, the RX8 immediately sets itself apart from the competition.

Within the cabin, the MG RX8 uses an array of the finest materials, including wood grain, chrome and soft-touch materials. The top of range (LUX) trim takes things a step further and is equipped with ventilated seats to ensure the highest level of comfort. On the feature front, the RX8 is armed with wireless phone charging and smartphone connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 10-inch infotainment screen among others.

Powered by an efficient 220HP 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, the MG RX8 is good for 360 Nm of torque while being paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. Built on a strong truck chassis frame, the RX8 has the credentials to tackle lesser traveled routes with 202mm of ground clearance, 800mm of wading depth, and approach and departure angles of 23-degrees.

Prices for the MG RX8 range from AED 84,300 to AED 99,100 in the UAE.
